Life in Wichita has been good to Karen.  She has a husband of over 40 years (“Now that is work”), 4 children and 5 grandchildren.  During her life, she has watched her children in many plays and musical events.  She has also set on hot dusty benches for softball, in the rain and the cold for soccer and known the agony of watching her children compete in tennis. “When your child is the only one out there, he/she has to bear the full responsibility for a poor decision.”  She misses those days.  But she also remembers how hectic life can be.

Real estate is her 4^th major life career, besides raising a family.   She used her microbiology degree to set up and run a commercial laboratory department, her accounting degree from Wichita State and CPA in her job at a local international company, self taught computer skills to enhance performance at the company and now sells real estate.  All of this while raising 4 children (“some of which I have raised with success”).

Karen, by choice, has a boutique business. Throughout her career she has been one of the top Realtors in the city and at J. P. Weigand.  Her business skills could allow her to run a “team” or “group”.  She chooses not to.  What Karen enjoys most is working with her clients directly.  She is somewhat of a control freak when it comes to making sure her clients get the best.  When you work with her, you will not be passed off to an assistant. You only work with her.
