Here are the major points of a contract.

 

 

·         The contract purchase price

·         Earnest money

·         The amount of your down payment and your loan amount

·         The type of loan

·         Your maximum interest rate

·          The date you will close

·         The date you get possession  (not always the same),

·         Homeowners warranty if applicable and what it covers.

·         How soon you will have the home inspection

·         Any costs that the Seller will pay for the Buyer
