Wichita offers a wide variety of educational opportunities. Wichita public schools offer elementary and middle school magnet programs. East High School offers the widely recognized International Baccalaureate program for those that want a rigorously challenging environment. Of course, all of the schools have several programs in their curriculum.
We have a large number of private schools. Many are based on Christian principles while others are secular. There are also a large number of families that home school. Plenty of support here for that program.
The bedroom communities have also fared well academically. They are quite diverse in size, class size and community feeling.
